Outfit Of the Month: July Pick 2.0

So I totally intended on doing just one outfit pick of the month for July, but I asked yall during a quick coffee chat what you wanted on my Insta Stories... I was so surprised that 90% of you wanted to see another outfit for July!

Yall know, I just don’t put a lot of stock in my ability to be stylish in clothing. But I think some of you can relate to my motivation of sharing my outfit picks–I am a fan of the simple, easy, and fun outfits that aren’t crazy expensive and are obtainable pieces and styles. I just am too frugal to put a ton of money into my clothes, but I do believe that the older I get, the more I want to invest in my clothing if it will last a long time. Now, not having a huge bank account, I have to be really picky about what I put more money into and what I buy on sale. Just keepin’ it real over here! My goal is to continue to show you outfits on a dime and some pieces that I think are worth investing in. So if you’ve lasted even this long, I am excited that you’re on this off the beaten path journey with me!

Without further ado, here is my outfit pick of the month: July 2.0!

This outfit is perfect for a casual night out with your boo or you know, a night out bowling or skating! Ha! (Tip: Don’t forget to pack your socks!) Even though I live in Florida, I still rock my favorite jeans often… even in the summer… no shame! I’m just a jean-lover!

These are my favorite pair of jeans by Seven for All Mankind.  They are comfy, have a good amount of stretch, can be rolled at the bottom or kept straight, and you can dress them up or down.  These run true to size (I wear a size 4-6 and got a 27 waist).

The top was a new purchase from Target at the beginning of this summer. I have been on the lookout to add more tanks to my summer collection and the sweet details on the top just really locked me in! I also love the bright but neutral cream with the higher neckline. It lets me embellish using whatever colors I want, and I have the flexibility to layer necklaces with it. Target only has the plus size available online, but run to your local store and see if they have any other sizes on clearance (and for $12.58!). They have been crazy with their clearance lately, so check it out!

My sandals (that I promise I wore when I wasn’t barefoot or bowling) are Jack Rogers dupes. I love these! I got them years ago from Target for like $20. Target later came out with a slightly different style, and I found those at Dirt Cheap for $3! These are so similar to the Jack Rogers brand, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find another pair of dupes from Target to link. I did check out Jacks on Amazon, and they have definitely gone down in price over the years! Here you can get them for about $87 (they are 25% off!). So much cheaper than they used to be! I love how they go with everything and are so incredibly comfortable! The shade I have would compare to the platinum Jacks. They come in platinum, gold, and silver.

My necklaces are from Franchesca’s and no longer sold, but here is a similar pink stone necklace (perfect for layering!)
